Another Omega fan here, will have 3 total whenever they approve the last one…
I have run mine on AR’s in .300 bo (subs only) and 5.56 as well as a couple of bolt guns (6.5cm and 7mm-08). I don’t do full auto, mag dumps, etc., just normal range shooting and deer/hog hunting and love em! I do use adjustable gas blocks on my AR’s I use with them.
Drop point, the more I look the more I’m finding exactly what you wrote. There’s just not a single can out there that does everything well. I think I’m going to have to drop the hearing safe requirement, especially on the 11.5”.
So far I’ve shot about 6 different ones and I’ll keep looking so keep your suggestions coming, I’m not in a hurry to wait a year anyway.
Is there an overall consensus among you guys (those of you that have several and have shot other suppressors) on the most quiet for 7.62 and under?…weight and size not being a factor (within reason)?

My Resonator K got out of jail in October but all I’ve had it on is the kids’ 6mm ARC. I doubt it is hearing safe but it is much more pleasant than unsuppressed. No ringing ears after the oldest boy shot his doe a few weeks ago.
OSS is way way WAY too heavy. when they weight double what they should its not a good thing. an AR 15 can should never be over about 12 ounces.
Well anything over 5 oz is heavy for some of us.
Holy crap you have that scope mounted way way forward. My scopes eye piece usually lines up with the castle nut. Didn’t know turkey hunting with rifles was legal anywhere.
To my oss is pretty much totally disqualified for anything. They are universally too heavy. This is despite the company testing each of them at the same range I go to.

The gays seem to like a rearward scope.
Real men know the ocular is in front of the CH.
Free men get to hunt with proper arms.
Your lack if understanding of Free Men is not suprising and your keyboard is slurring. Sleep it off.

I have all the sources. They can't stop the signal.
Bolt guns are a different animal but I will check them out.
As stated, this is for an AR which brings its own set of rules. I’ve shot several cans on bolt guns and a few on AR’s but none on a short AR. Between the guys I know, I can gather a few different ones to compare on my 11.5” gun. But I do appreciate all the suggestions I’ve gotten here.
On my 11.5 inch gun I run a Sandman s I have ran the omega on it and it did just fine as well. I did get some gas blowback in my face with both.
I have tried my friends gun with a 12.5 inch barrel running a nomad TI. I really liked it as well, and it seemed to throw less gas in the face than the others.
I am running a Hybrid 46 only because I have several rifles I can screw it on. Currently have YHM R9 in tax stamp jail, primarily for a Glock, but interested to see what it does on the ARs as it is quite a bit smaller than the 46.
For those that can ntch, good for you. Maybe with irons, but not with scopes. They are usually flush with the charging handle, not forward of them.
