Pa buck shot today with cast from a 358 winchester. Lee 35-200 bullet with a 3-3-94 allow powder coated. MV was 1920fps. Deer made it 30-40 yards. This was a confidence builder since the only other cast I used was a 45-70 420 grain with a wide flat nose. Made this look pretty small , but I would say this one should hold its own!
......the occasional hunter wielding a hopelessly inaccurate rifle, living by the fantastical rule that this cartridge can deliver the goods, regardless of shot placement or rifle accuracy. The correct term for this is minute of ego.

Great job! It feels badass to kill stuff with your own bullets!

I used to cast but somehow got away from it. I have the Saeco GC mould for .358 guns that I have never poured.

I shoot a 35 Whelen 200gr at 2500 fps, it's quite the thumper on deer and hogs.
Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

You can't go wrong shooting a 358 Win with cast or jacketed bullets. Good job!
