Does anyone have one?

How do you like it?

I’ve only seen the videos of it but damn it trips my trigger way more than the Ruger. Wish it had a lower price tag…..

I’ve been wondering if anybody had one in hand yet that could give us an honest eval as well.

A 10mm version would be cool.

If it's just a straight blow-back gun like a hi-point, $1,000 is just not there.
If it's a locked/delayed action, well maybe. Chambered in 10mm magnum, 44 Auto Mag or something in that class would be acceptable at that price point.

Run it up, until you blow it up, then back it down a bit.

There are multiple links on the Henry site that take you to blurbs from various sources. Read them all and you’ll probably cobble together the full picture.

https://www.henryusa.com/rifles/homesteader-9mm/

Has some good features, and a few misses, but overall it looks pretty good, and won’t scare the civilians like one of those nasty black rifles. IF I had one, I’d ignore the rail mount and put a little red dot on the barrel for a better cheek weld, or maybe just put on my glasses and use the ghost ring. I’ll stick with my Mini 14, which also takes flush mags at need.

Is that because of more time and complex machining in the production?
