Nice! I'm headed to Texas in a couple of weeks to give this pig-hunting-thing a try, and I'm bringing the Ham'r.

300 ham'r is a good round. I load it for a buddy who has one. It's basically just improved 300blk just with a little more case capacity

Can it handle the variety of bullets and weights the Blackout can?

I still may get one but right now am getting ready to take out a Radical Arms 7.62x39 to try on pigs. In the process of building a Wilson Combat lower, not sure what caliber that might end up as yet.

Possibly a Ham'r, but thinking of something 6.8/277. Going to be a 300 yrd max gun for deer and hogs.

No. The Ham'r is intended for lighter bullets, in the 110-150gr range, supersonic only.

To me, the Blackout is only interesting as a subsonic bullet launcher. This limits my choices to bullets 190 grains and heavier.

I think the Ham'r and .350 Legend are better hunting rounds for the AR platform. The Blackout has its place, though. It's airgun-quiet in a suppressed bolt gun!
