Steel weaver/warne or Leupold PRW mounts. My preference for the heavy kickers.

Talley steel mounts and rings also work well, if you don't mind the vertical split rings. Just keep in mind you will have to order post 64 Express mounts. Those are specific to the H&H receivers.

Leupold Dual Dovetails.

Those guns are so nose heavy they're pussycats to shoot if the recoil pad hasn't turned to stone!

They still ain't bad even if the pad is rock hard.

My .375 wears a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32 in the aforementioned Talley steel rings. It is detachable, and I hunt with a backup pre-zero’ed in my gear. It returns to within 1 MOA or better when swapping them out.

I like this arrangement a lot. Not a Winchester rifle, so beg pardon, but you get the gist of it.

Show a pic of your with Leupold DD's. Please. The problem with them on the H&H receiver is the rear mount is going to hang into the ejection/loading port. That basically defeats the purpose Winchester was trying to make with opening up the receiver and loading port. If you have DD's that don't do that, I'd love to see them. Thanks..

I agree with those that recommend the talley mounts. In terms of glass, I guess it depends on your intentions for the gun. I expected shorter shots with my 375, so I put a leupold vx6hd 1-6 on it. I love it but if someone wanted to reach a little further, a good 3-9 leupold wouldn't be a bad call. Leupold's are pretty well known for dealing with the recoiling guns better than some other brands.

I have the very same rifle. I put talley QR bases and rings on with Leupold VX3, 2-1/2 x 8 and it looks and works very well. Eye relief is just right.

My 416 Rem wears Michael Scherz bases in Talley rings. A 1.75-5X Signature Safari now rides in those rings.

I have the same rifle. It had a VariX3 2.5-8 on it when I bought it that wouldn’t hold zero and had coating rubbed off the lenses. I thought it might have been the bases as one screw hole was stripped. Tapped it out to 8-40. Sent scope back to Leufold and they replaced it with a VX3 2.5-8 which then it killed after about 100+ rounds. Sits scopeless now and I still haven’t figured out what I want to replace it with. Thinking a Trijicon LPVO. Used Talley extended bases and screw lock detachables and probably will again.

Interesting. The scope seems kind of high and far back, or is it just me?

I put a heavy Near Mfg mount on my .375 Wby way back when I first got it. Overkill, but works.

Those straight tubes with no objective bell always look a little high, but I agree that that one looks particularly high. May not be an issue for squeeler, however.
