I seated them at 3.3. Once again you could lengthen the throat for more powder capacity. If 0.1 really makes that much difference.

Great rifle! What’s the barrel length?

Thank you, 23" barrel length.

I think I'll stick with what you have going.. They can always be let out.

Thanks for the word. That rifle looks like it is going to be a blast.

If that 59 grain load with the 155 LRX's repeats, I don't know that I'd mess with much else though. That's nice stuff.

I am thinking anywhere in the 57-59 gr range will be just perfect for the 155 LRX.

Would like improve the velocity and tighten up the groups with the 170gr Ballistic tip loads too

Will definitely post further testing. Might not be until next week though. Lots of wind, cold, snow/rain the rest of the week.

Hunting with friends over the weekend.

That's a HILARIOUS amount of Long Action Goat Fhuqk,to be second fiddle to an OEM 264 Kreed and .697 BC's at 2700fps+. Hint.

I will take it for antelope, deer, and possibly elk (if I draw) this fall.

I want to go back to Africa for Eland, Nyala, Kudu, and whatever.

This gun was: "because I want it rifle"

You are correct, habit. Once I get a little more serious, it will be on to 5 shot groups, then final testing with ten.

What BM is that and also do you know the finished weight as pictured?

Bottom metal is PT&G
Weight as pictured is 8.25#, a little heavier than I typically like.
I have done the ultralightweight 270 WCF with a Kimber 84L. Too light and tough to get the rifle to settle down.

I have a Model 70 Classic FWT in and Edge FWT stock that gets the nod if a lot of hiking is on the agenda.

You can shorten the case necks to accommodate the ogive of the Bulldozer bullets and shorten COAL.

Give a look at the Hammer hunter line of bullets. 140, 148, or 156 would suit that barrel nicely. I bet you find a load it likes real quick!

RPM,COAL and Throat Geometry are the heart of EVERY rifle and it's funnier han fhuqk, how very few have a clue. Hint.

Sawing necks off, don't "sweeten" a Goat Fhuqk. Hint.

Fhuqking LAUGHING!...........

Enjoy your rifle. Nice rig. It’s a hunting rifle. Not just a paper puncher. Dead critters will accumulate. Edk

He could run Lapua 30-06 cases if he wanted to see if the bullet shoots better with a bit of a jump, just a suggestion. Generally a rifles throat is cut to accomodate a variety of bullets not just a few. Especially hunting rifles.

While you Google and Pretend aloud with your Imagination,I'm simply afforded he luxuries of not being forced to guess...you "lucky" kchunt. Hint. Congratulations?!?

Pardon the reality,of reality. Hint.

Feel free to speak in the first hand,of Custom Rifles you've commissioned and your "knack" for throat geometry. Hint.

The OP is simply a Drooling Dumb Fhuqk, that dropped every ball possible,to yield a Long Action shy of 264 Kreed potential. Hint.

I could care less what F'sticht has to say. He is on ignore for a reason as his campfire persona is 100% BS.

I find it best to just ignore him.

Fortunately for you gals,Imaginary Pretend Ignore is free,so even you can ladies "afford" to "contribute"...you "lucky" kchunts. Hint. Congratulations?!?

Kudos on reiterating how Jane Average is dumber than fhuqk and CLUELESS in regards to Rifle Mechanics. A second fiddle long ation 264 Kreed,is funnier than fhuqk! Hint.

That .270 150 Super Bulldozer with .710 BC at 3046 fps "dwarfs" your Goat Fhuqk .264 .697 BC at 2700 fps. Hint. "Dwarfs"....Hint, hint. Absolutely fhuqking laughing!
