Best of luck on the hunt and the new house.

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

No turkeys were witnessed on my place this morning. Took a little drive around the section. I did see one truck pulled way back in a field where I think birds went yesterday morning.

Saw 1 gobbler and 3 hens one the road 1 mile to the west when I left as well.

This little field is only about 10 yards from me. See deer cross this every morning.

Straight ahead. Field on left.

Hunting from a natural blind made of logs and at one time a few pallets.

To the right. There is a path I cut with a mulcher last spring to help open this place up.

Over my shoulder. Still a path that goes along a pretty good sized creek. Just so happens the deer traveled this area anyway and clearing a path made it easier to see/shoot. Big tree actually blocks the view of that path in picture.

Same vine as above. Path can be seen as well as a forkie.
