I forgot I had this one. Traded into it about 5 years ago. She’s in very nice shape. The old Belgian action, Hi Standard barrel and Timney trigger should help her shoot well.

My question is, the stock needs to have a top coat of something. Would you use Tung oil or boiled linseed oil?

Watco Danish oil. It's oil, solvent and some varnish. Looks like a linseed oil finish but it builds (and dries) faster.

I pulled the stock and rubbed in a coat of Howard’s Feed N Wax. I might leave it alone. She doesnt look as dry now.

Mine did better with Greek surplus than it did with 168gr TTSX handloads, FWIW.
