Not many out there, and I've been wondering what the new going price for them was given the general leap in postmil prices the last couple of years.
Still wondering.
I was lucky to be able to get John Wright's from his auction.

I would think that was a reasonable price for one, never seen one myself. Im still looking for the correct rifle and shotgun barrel to fill my case, thats my priority of the moment! Don
The new in box rifle is a 308 it is the only caliber that this rifle was produced in because they used leftover barrels from the 1895 commemorative rifles and these 308c rifles with octagon barrels are uncatalogued.
I already have a 99C in 284 and even killed some dandy bucks with it. If I am going to get one this late in production, it’s to use it.
The gun I use for 308 is my 99R in 308.

You guys with the NIB octagon C's got me to thinking and searching. I was lucky enough to locate one and once I actually saw it, I couldn't turn it down. It is actually only the second one I have ever seen.
