S/S Teflon coated ASC's for me and I expressly drive 10-rounders. They are rugged, fend weather exceptionally and offer the greatest COAL. Win/win/win. Hint............... Same here. I do predator control for a living and use an AR-15 for the majority of my work. The ASC stainless mags let me seat some of the heavier bullets out farther. Their max COAL is ~2.316" vs 2.260" for MilSpec mags. I have yet to get in a firefight with a pack of coyotes, so 10 rounders work just fine. Ed

ASC’s are great, probably should buy more, but for general use/abuse Pmags are what I have shïtloads of. Never a hiccup.

Pmags, Surefeed or USGI mags with Magpul followers for me. I prefer 20’s and 30’s. ^^^^^ This, OKay surefeed may be out of business now, what a shame Edit: CPD Duromag may be your best bet for new GI like Aluminum mags. I think you need a balance of PMags and US GI type aluminum mags.

I'm close to Brownells so that is what I typically buy. I have a few Magpulls but mostly Brownells.
kwg I like ASC. Have for many years. We also have a lot of brownells bought on sale. No flies on them at all. Not as long OAL. Which really issn't much of an issue typically. And reliable.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

It's my understanding that the US Army gets truckloads of magazines from Brownells. I have never had an issue with their 20 or 30 round magazines. kwg

I like the asc 20 rounders. That's what I've used for 20 years because I can seat my bullets out a bit longer and the 20 rounders still clear the bench or ground when I'm prone. I also keep several mag pul gen 3 window mags in my case for my shtf and truck guns. But when it comes to recreational shooting I always go for my asc 20 rounders

For business, PMAG Gen3 or HK.
For fun, any other.
