i am tempted but will pass and stick with pierce and borden after the large price increase after the sale...remember they werent making any money so they might be on their way out..haha
Shocking. Must not be selling quite as well at Bob Beck’s new price point.
Does Beck sell those actions as well or use them on his rifles?
Unless things have changed at MOA since they bought Defiance the actions on MOA built rifles had actions supposedly designed by MOA but they where/are built by Rim Country Manufacturing in Payson AZ.

Only the older models are on sale.
Anti is no longer current? Or just not selling as well as the anti-x?
I was told by one of their dealers that the X is a replacement and that the only difference is that the X comes with a 20MOA pre installed and the ANTI doesn’t. Same guy told me the Ruckus is the replacement for the Tenacity.
The difference between the Anti- X and Anti is the X has a integrated rail and the Anti is a pinned one piece. I dont like the integrated because it limits you on location of scope mounts especially with newer short tube scope setting the eye relief.

I will likely never build another custom(shocking I know) but it certainly would not be on an action that has a pinned or inter grated rail. I’m strictly a hunting rifle guy and rarely (never) spin turrets or need the ability to have more elevation out of a set-up. I’m one of those boring shooters/hunters (I know not popular here😂)
I bought a medium, GA Deviant Hunter a few years ago and paid about $1,150 for it……I was on the same site today looking for another and they were sold out but the price was north of $1800 for a black nitride.

First I’ve heard that the x is a replacement. That was what I was wondering - is the regular anti going away or just not selling as well?
I'm on my third build with Defiance, the first two Tenacity actions were under $1k, this last one, a Ruckus GA Hunter, was almost $1.9k, it will be my last Defiance receiver, there are simply too many other good options to pay that price. Maybe they were losing money before the sale but I don't see how they stay in business very long with these prices.
I had no idea Defiance actions had gone up so much. I had a 26" 7mm-08 built on a Tenacity action 2 yrs ago, I think the action was right around $1k....can't remember for sure.
Here is (Eric Stecker) with his sister trying to buy and sell real estate from 3yrs ago. You wonder why Defiance, Berger/Capstone, Nammo AS (Lapua) and anything else associated with him means bend over and take it, well, you make the choice where you will spend your money. Operational Improvements, what a joke! Eliminate options, control competition through acquisition and then bend your customer over. His business model improvements seem to dictate higher than market prices on just about anything he is involved with. Walt Berger's grandson, sure, but caring about the customer or making it feasible for distributors to make a profit are the least of his/his investors concerns.
I think these two taught our current Pres/VP to pitch a sale!
