It's tough to cuss an integral lug,but it's not often a pre-fit is offered in a contour I really want. Hint.
On a S/A,I'm often wanting an extended 1913,to arrange max ring spacing and would happily take an 8x40/pinned rail, wearing the inclination I want, over an integral flat receiver length version. Hint.
Not many of the gals shoot and they like to prove same obliviously. Hint................(grin) True on the prefit contours...seems as if it's carbon sendero or truck axle in stainless. It was nice to learn Lilja would chamber prefits in contour/chambering/length of choice. I made it almost an entire day before I ordered. Extendeds can be nice if needed. I'm usually good with length of action for most scopes I use. I've been using pinned 20 MOA's and pinned 25 MOA Hawkins on a few Def actions. The "X" version with the 20 MOA integral wasn't available when I picked mine up...I wish it had been. Aside from $, the biggest cost is weight. After a lot heating, screw grabber, DAP, and left handed bit drilling this past week, I finally drilled the heads off of a couple of base screws...it's kinda fresh on my mind.....

I'm happy to weld schit into place and tend to default Marty Rails there...never as short as the receiver, nor lacking inclination. Hint...............(grin)

Geez, pretty critical of things that are not relevent to the rifle. Young men seem to wear ball caps just about everywhere these days, it's part of their "uniform", I don't but that's my choice. Regarding their clothing of choice, that's pretty insignificant too, it's Wyoming after all and given the choice of putting on a layer or two or stripping down to a T shirt 'cause the heat is roaring, I'll take the extra layer. Most of the receivers I look at for my builds are Rem 700 clones to some degree, most for fixtures, barrel fits and stock options, just makes sense.
