Triggertech special if you want under 2lbs . I have two TT's on order for 2 Mark V rifles .

Redhawk Rifles has the best deal on them.

+1 I thought the directions provided by Trigger Tech to replace the M700 trigger were really good. In total I had around 10 minutes from disassembling the rifle to trigger installed, rifle back together and measuring trigger pull.

I put a Timney in my 270 xcr 2. I really like it. I don't regret putting in the Timney but I do want to try a triggertech on the next rifle I upgrade.

This is a very nice trigger in a Rem 700. I put one in my 280 ai. and it is a big improvement over the factory trigger.

Mine feels ridiculously light at 2lbs.

If you want a two stage , that would be the way to roll.

Triggertech wins as far as ease of installation. I have several(TT Primary) and like them very much but the best trigger I have is a Jewell. Jmo ymmv

They make a single stage in the Dakota too, it is excellent.

I’ve put Timneys in several of my rifles and like them a lot. I haven’t tried a Trigger tech but may have to do that one of these days.

Rifle had a Jewell in it, swapped for the BnA. Never noticed any downside to using a good two-stage in a hunting rifle, even for close snap-shots.
