For those of us who still traditionally lube and size bullets I thought I’d share my recent switch to WLL. I was out of my last stick of Javelina 50/50 when I got my new to me Star sizer a few months ago. Needing a relatively soft replacement to run through the Star with no heater I found a recommendation online for WLL’s BAC.

Price was reasonable enough for me and shipping was fast, either the day of my order or the next.

I’ve lubed and shot around 1k bullets with the BAC, which is a blend of beeswax, alox, and carnuba with no leading issues and very good accuracy. It seems to be a little stiffer than 50/50, which helps with handling lubed bullets.

I haven’t shot anything over 1300fps and probably won’t. They offer other blends for higher speeds or harder lubes for packaging bullets for shipping but I haven’t tried them. They are likely good as well but I have no need and so no experience.

Just a PSA in case some of you may have a need.

Yep. Good stuff. My experience mirrors yours. I still have a lifetime supply of Javelina so I'll stick with it.

I'm still running a concoction of about 50% beeswax, 30% Avocado oil, and 20% hoglard. I use edible ingredients because I have to handle the stuff. Don't want something potentially carcinogenic such as transmission fluid or any of the petroleum greases as has been suggested in some writeups.

This lube does the job amazingly well. Don't see any reason for anything else.

I bought about 10 sticks from them a couple years ago, I only go through couple sticks a year, if that much.
Seems to be at least as good as the 50/50 I was running (don’t really do any high velocity stuff), but have been powder coating everything as of late.

WLL is good stuff and is reasonably priced. Lars is just up the highway from me so I usually just drive up and visit and pick up some.
