For those of you who are not aware of the history, here's a link to a short explanation of what Canada Day is, when it was created, etc.

I am waiting for the first person to post about it being "Dominion Day". The last Dominion Day was in 1981. It's long gone and the monarchy is a dying memory.

A flash from the past for those of you who were around in 1967.

I remember singing that at school for Dominion day in 67.

I still say ‘Dominion Day ‘ .....

An oldie from 1967, our centennial year. If you were around then, you might remember this song. You might also remember the Confederation Train and its distinctive Oh Ca-na-da! horn.

The trains were regular locomotives painted up with special colours.

I hope most of you had a good Canada Day. My wife and I were at a picnic most of the day. Lots of activities for every age group. Fireworks later tonight.

This was a planned event. We reunited with retired service people, most of whom we haven’t seen in years!

Isn't anyone ready to explain the infiltration of the Chineese Comunist Party into the Trudeau liberal government, or how they control blocs of the Senate on Parlaiment Hill today ? The Americans would probably appreciate an answer to that . As a matter of fact RCMP, CISIS , CANADIAN FORCES INTELLIGENCE, and Journalists have been concerned with this matter for some time now and especially since they've been kidnapping our Citizens .We have a different freedom from what the Americans and other Countries enjoy since they dont encourage the commies or even pretend their niceties .
