I started painting some pistols on Sunday. Should have them together by end of week.

Download didn't work. All I got was gobblygook

Here's one I did with Krylon. Just taped the front sight post, and rear apertures. It's a 5.56, with CMMG rimfire adaptor in place.

I like to do contrasting stripes. Degrease, mask off, start painting. Then I blend a bit and break things up with some mesh overlaying (old laundry bag). GarandThumb had a couple good videos on it a while back.

I've done a brown/tan, a green/tan, and a gray/black. I like the theme well enough. Black ARs are boring to me.....

I can't make the pictures small enough to post.

You all are way more talented than me. If i tried to paint one it would end up looking like a pair of clown pants.

That said we did paint a couple of match rifles once for the heck of it. Green cameleon or that paint that goes from green to red depending on angle. LOL.

Fun to mess with things when you have time.

I'd not use time to paint anymore at this point in my life. But it can be fun.
