Anyone here familiar with this benchrest organization?

The reason for asking is my dad set 2 world records with this organization about 10-11 years ago at the age of 70. He’s going to sell the gun used to set the records. Just gauging interest before I post it on classifieds.

They are pretty prominent in the South Eastern part of the country. The scoring system is a bit different as each calibers target is specific to it's bore size (.30, .224, .243). The 'X' dot scores as an additional point (a 10X scores as a. '11').

The BR community is pretty tight...maybe I know or know of your Dad.

Danny Hensley is the originator of UBR and is the point of contact for UBR. As rayporter noted in the other thread, UBR is a score match that uses targets that are caliber specific for 30, 243 and 22 calibers to level the playing field in scoring. UBR also uses the 11 point scoring system that does not use the "X-count", an X is scored as 11 points. There is no membership to join, you show up and shoot.
