Every summer I try to get back to my native CO to do some fishing. I like to fish out of a float tube and one of the lakes I like to hit is Joe Wright Res. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/F3zKQBe.jpg) This lake is the best grayling lake in the state and I always catch some fish. Grayling are predominately a fly fishing target but I use a spinning rod. I ties on a small black jig and rig a couple of nymphs on dropper loops above it. The jig gives me enough weight to cast and the nymphs catch the fish. Thanks for taking me back to Colorado for a fishing memory!
I used to head up there for an escape from the "Front Range".
A pack rod, a casting bobber and a few flies made for a nice motorcycle ride.
