In the Gun Library at the Cabela's in LaVista, NE. $450 with a scope and see-through mounts. I didn't look at it closely, but how often do you come across even a well worn 99 in 358 for under $500?
They also have a nice 22" 99A in 243 and a very nice 99G in 250-3000 The 99G has a tang peep sight installed and is as nice a 99G in 250-3000 as I have seen is some time.

Hadn't been over in a couple weeks. Wonder if that 99A is the one from the KC store.. it had some wear on it, I hear.
The 99G in 250-3000 is very nice, but also priced at $2600. It's a mirror blue receiver from the 300,000-318,000 range.

I didn't look closely at any of the Savage 99s, but I thought that the 99G in 250-3000 was priced around $1,200, not $2,600. These rifles were out in racks, not behind glass.
They also have a nice 340V in 225 WIN with a scope and side mount, maybe a Weaver K6 scope.
I was over there this morning and bought a minty Husqvarna with a Mannlicher style stock and a Denver Redfield 3-9x in 243 for $562 otd.

They have a 99EG in 250-3000 that's at about $1100.. studs, so-so.. 85%? Didn't see a 99G on the rack. One behind glass, that's the $2600 one. They have a postmil 99F in 308, not good shape, mismatched wood - $450. Be a good truck gun. 99A in 243 isn't bad, but some wear and scratches in the wood. At $1000, didn't interest me.
The 358 apparently sold (not to me).
The 99A in 308 they had in back also sold.
I looked at that 340V hard, Not a Weaver, but not bad scope I don't think. One of the house brands scopes I think. At $500.. decided to leave it.

I would say if it is not rusted and or beat to crap, a 99 in 358 win would be a steel for under $500. My opion Gotta go an call Cabe.....

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.
