Has anyone used a 120gr HP Sierra in a 6.5 rifle, how does it perform?

They perform great in my grendel ar15, very accurate

I've never used that particular bullet so i'm no help with the HP version. My daughter uses the Sierra 120 PH in her .260 and it's very accurate and excellent on game.

I’ve never used that bullet, but a 120 Barnes TTSX does real well on deer and pigs.

The sierra is fine bullet in my 260 rem. i also tried them in 6.5 Rem mag. but that gun prefers barnes 127 lrx. But all in all in the 260 they have been a death wish to deer and hogs.

BooBear do you mean the 120 Pro hunter or 120 Hollow Point? The hollow point is a match bullet not a hunting bullet though I know some will use match bullets for game.

I have gotten great accuracy and good performance out of the Pro Hunter but not always exits- or in some cases I could see where the bullet fragmented and exited. The 140 Gameking has been nothing short of perfect- should have never stopped using it.
