Just returned from a elk scouting trip this last weekend, 1550 miles with a 26.7 average MPG. Ave speed for the trip was 57 mph due to a lot of the drive being Interstate at 78 mph

The guy down the block got a 2022 Ford Maverick hybrid and the mileage numbers he was telling me were borderline unbelievable. I suppose if you just do short electric powered around town stuff you too could get 70 mpg with over 40 average on the road.


My other auto is a .45

For those who own the 3.0 duramax, are you factoring in the higher price of Diesel as well as Def ?

My neighbor bought a 2023 lariat . It looks like a midget mobile even next to a Honda Ridgeline.

I sat in the Lariat , would not wish that on anyone on a long trip.

Last time I did the math, I was still ahead with the higher cost of diesel vs. gas. Not by a ton but ahead. Have not run the numbers recently. These little diesels don't use much DEF, in my experience. Usually good for about 6500 miles
