It's on the CBC network. No one watches CBC anymore.
If you like the sets and scenery, it's filmed in and around Calgary Alberta.

I kinda enjoyed the show a bit then over time one can see it is just another show written and produced by Hollywood wannabees who have never rode a horse, lived on a ranch or have a clue about life outside the concrete jungle.

My wife and I have watched all of the seasons. We enjoyed the horses. Over time, the plots became pretty predictable but, if new seasons are produced, we will go back to watching them. I have hunted in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Those experiences added to my enjoyment of viewing Heartland.
BTW, I found the Western Canadians to be some of the nicest people I have ever met.
