.. my wildcat virginity. My 22 Creed barrel came in just over a week ago. I couldn't find any info for the powders I have on hand and the 75 ELD Match bullets, but I did find some for Reloader 22 and 69 grn bullets in the 22/250 AI showing 3300 fps at a max charge of 40.3 grn and 80 grn bullets in .220 Swift listed at 3100 with a max of 41.0 grains. Since the 22 Creed has a little more capacity I reckon it might get the 75's to 3400 fps or so. I errored on the side of caution and started with 38.0 grains, it only got to 2745 fps for a four shot average but the first five shot group was right at 1/2". 38.5 grains got me to 2813 and 39 grains averaged 2840 for a four shot average. From here I'll keep adding powder till I see pressure or hit 3400+.

The shot wide to the right of the 38.5 grain load was a called flyer.

I think I'm going to like it.

What do you get when you cross a polar bear with a seal? A polar bear.

Did you hear they arrested the devil? Yeah, they got him on possession.

I may get there. Right now I just want to use up some of this RL22 that I have on hand. I've got 3 1/2 pounds of it that I have no reason why. I must have gotten a deal on it sometime because it's never been a powder for any of my go to loads. Besides, 500 yards is a long shot for the places that I shoot, 75's at 3400+ should play well to there.

How many grains of 17 is it taking to get you to 3250+ with the 88's?

Careful…falling in love with the first one that takes your virginity! Looks good. I’d bet you’ll find what it wants for bughole duty in short order.

X2 on the Alpha, 17 and 88's. Works in a Creed and a 22-250 AI. Appreciated the info from stick

Only 2 from last year but the 88's just shut them both off where they stood. 360+ on the antelope and under 100 on the little Wt.

88 out of the back of the wt's neck shot in the bottom of the white patch under his chin.

I'd like to know the benefits of a 88gr in a 22 CM compared to a 108gr in a 6mm CM?

The .22 Creed is so close to legit now that your purchase only counts as “just the tip”, not a total deflowering….

Not deflowering if it’s a “Creed”, that’s the “loop” hole.

I assumed but the forearm looked svelte relative to the barrel contour.
