Thanks everyone.
Fotis, that is a good looking rifle. If I can make mine shoot even half that good, I'll be very happy.
Pavementends, The barrel is a Criterion 22" sporter from Northland the stock is a Grayboe from Redhawk. The bottom metal is all Wyatts with one of their milled followers and is feeding smooth right from the get go. The trigger is a Triggertech. I don't have a good scale but with that scope I'm guessing all up is around 8.5 lbs or a tick more. I will change rings to get the scope lower but I want to play with the scope some more first, as I may end up changing it too.
Pappy, a man has got to start somewhere, even if it is just at the tip.
Those who are always shooting off at the mouth usually aren't shooting straight. What do you get when you cross a polar bear with a seal? A polar bear. Did you hear they arrested the devil? Yeah, they got him on possession. www.wvcdl.org

I may get there. Right now I just want to use up some of this RL22 that I have on hand. I've got 3 1/2 pounds of it that I have no reason why. I must have gotten a deal on it sometime because it's never been a powder for any of my go to loads. Besides, 500 yards is a long shot for the places that I shoot, 75's at 3400+ should play well to there.
How many grains of 17 is it taking to get you to 3250+ with the 88's? RL22 is my preferred powder in the 223WSSM with 75 grainers. Should do well for you.

That answers a big question for all of us. I bet it pisses you off that someone killed something with the same, thanks to Stick's info. No, not really. Your mistake is thinking that I care. You could have stopped at thinking. Thanks, and remember to tip your baggers.
