I will soon be swapping trucks with my son, my Tundra for his F-150. He needs the larger rear cab of my Tundra for his growing family. I am looking for a set that are open grated such that mud/snow would "drain" through. I recently hunted with a guy that had a set but he cannot remember the brand. They had pretty sharp slotted "cleats" and were very "grabby" for my shoes. Any idea?

I put full length nerfs on my Dodge with an 8' bed. They go all the way back to the rear wheels. That's a HUGE help in getting to stuff in the front of the bed.

I've used Weston wheel to wheel tube steps on my last 3 pickups. They're an oval shape to give a wider step than round tubes. The big thing for me is they don't accumulate and hold as much dirt/mud/slush/salt grime as running boards. Have seen rocker panels rust out faster with running boards that mount tight to truck body. But probably not a big issue in Texas.

Ranch Hand running boards have saved my truck twice and still going strong. Buy a front bumper while you're at it, smacked a doe going 80mph and she dented the tread plate up a little.
