I've killed a lot of deer with 139SST out of a variety of 7mm cartridges. Recovered some of them, all good bullet performance.

Just watched the kid hammer an young whitetail buck about 85 yds in the neck with Hornady 338win 225gr SST from their super performance ammo. He's also smashed a big bull elk. I dressed these critters for the kids and didn't notice any excessive damage nor did I recover any bullets.

Used Speer Hot Core in an 270win and so far am happy with the results. I've got a pile of Winchester Power Point 130gr for the 270win I need to try. I wish there were hogs locally to go after but we have limited species of elk, deer, bear (yuck).

If you had hogs you would wish you didn't.

It's an interlock with a tip. What's not to like? Run that sucker 2900 to 3200 and you'll get penetration and violence. Great hunting bullet.
