probably random. Some movie people don't know their ---- from a hole in the ground. I was an extra in a movie once. We were bird hunters coming back from hunting. They gave me an M1 Garand. I told them you don't hunt birds with a rifle. They said no big deal, carry it anyway. smirk

Yeah, was watching a documentary on the Amityville Horror and they mentioned Defeo used a Marlin .35 to murder his family, even showed the actual rifle and the original Marlin box. Then, when they re-enacted the shooting scenes, the actor is using a pump shotgun.

Something that makes me wonder, is Ronald Defeo used a 35 REM to kill his whole family in the middle of the night. But the neighbors didnt hear the shots?

One would think. How were the other family members not alerted and sent scrambling? Must have sounded like the crack of doom inside that house.

Joe, it is free on Prime. I watched it last evening. Once you type in "Maneater" in the search function, the first two movies with the same name pop up with a shark in them. #3 is the tiger movie. Basically a Jaws theme on land with a tiger. That Savage 99 gets little more than a cameo appearance after the tiger eats it's owner.

My other auto is a .45

Thanks, I'll try again. I thought I was on prime, but my son gets every movie channel out there. I tried clicking on every one that was called "Maneater", and they all went to the "Shape shifter" one.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.
