How is the firing pin holes on the new RemArms? Do they need to be bushed like the older 700s?

The new RARs are very good rifles. I'm thinking my next one will be a stainless model in .243

I was eyeballing a ADL in 223 with the 1-8 twist at the LGS to replace an older one I have with the 1-12. Not sure which route to go. Rebarrel the one I have or just get the newer one.

If your current 223 is accurate and you like it, I'd just rebarrel with no other work or changes. You can get exactly the twist and contour and length you want. If I ever wear the barrel out on my old 223 that is the plan for it.
OR
You could keep the old one, buy the new one and have two!

local LGS has 2 700 BDLs of new manufacturer. One in 243 and one in 30-06. I am a sucker for Classic looking rifles, thus have not handled one to save myself from parting with the money.

My LGS has a new CDL in .300 Winchester Magnum and a 7mm Rem Magnum. What really caught my eye was the iron-sights atop a BDL in .308 Winchester! It tempts me every time I go in.
