If any. I swapped my son into the the subject 4WD truck. It has the 5 liter, 10 speed transmission and 3.73 rear locker. I just did an oil change, a lot of oil, so I was pleased. Are there any concern areas with the truck? Just under 50K miles.

I bought a used 2017 F150 with 38,000 miles on it. Loved the truck but the nylon seals that they use for vacuum in the front wheel assembly would not seal up. This is for activating your 4 wheel drive. My dealer stood the cost for replacing and it wasn't very long before I had to have it done again. If you take it out of 4WD and it pulls right or left, you know you have a problem. It is not deactivating. It might not even pull according some of the mechanics that I talked to, but it is a major problem up to 2021. I traded and bought a 2022 and solved the problem. It is about $1200.00 labor and parts to do both sides. I bought a 3.5 and it does as well for mileage as the 2.7. You might not have any trouble, but I sure did.

EdM I don't know the year Ford quit putting cast iron cyl sleaves in the 5.0l v-8 my 2016 has them I'm thinking it was 19 or 20 when they got stupid and did that. There is a major class action law suit filed against Ford for doing that. Seems they start burning oil bad at 80k or so and the owners are told they need a new engine for 12k. Appears none of the Ford hierarchy are old enough to remember Chevy Vegas. You can Google the details .mb

I have a 2014 with the 5.0. It is a solid engine and when coupled with the 10 speed and 3.73 gears should have plenty of power. My older truck with 6 speed and 3.55 gears is adequate but I'd prefer 3.73's
There were some issues with the 5.0 consuming excessive oil in the 2018 model, they fixed the issue with the 2019 and newer trucks. I post some over at the F150 forum and there is some chatter about it. It didn't affect every truck and I'm not aware of anyone needing a new engine. We have gotten used to engines that burn little or no oil between changes. From what I'm reading most of the time it may require adding a quart or 2 between oil changes which isn't a huge deal. That engine holds almost 8 quarts.

Buddy with a 2018 lariat had to have his transmission replaced around 165K. Last time we talked he was shopping for a new truck.

The cylinders were toast and the pistons scuffed.

I bought a 2018 F150 xlt new and just turned 40,000 miles on it and when it was new I took it back into the dealership and have on record the transmission shifting irregularities while under warranty in case I have issues with it as I'm not a fan of the modern day electronic shifting transmissions that in most cases can't be avoided. I'm sure if I have a problem down the road it won't matter and I'll have to pay full boat! No real issues with the truck as I've taken it out west on a few hunting trips and it's my daily driver. I'm a maintenance nut with things and so far so good for a modern truck. I have no brand Loyalty whatsoever as I've had good luck with several different vehicles.

I have a 2016 which is damn near the same thing. Mine is the XLT Super Crew with 2.7l Eco-boost. When I first bought it, I tried not to like that motor...but the damn thing just keeps on going. I have 165K on it now and they're not easy miles. Easily 100K of them are towing something. It's the best truck I've ever had. It has the 5.5' box that is my only complaint really.

It's tough to find the Supercrew models with the 6.5' bed, even though they do make good sense for a lot of folks.
Now with even more aplomb

Only if you want the turning radius of a bus and have a very long garage. I got use to that 6.5 footer with my cab and a half, but my F150 Super Crew with the 6.5 is longer than most anything in the parking lot.
My other auto is a .45

I have a 2018 XLT 2.7 Ecoboost that I bought as a leftover in 2019 and has152K miles on it. The only issue I had was the wiper motor died (covered under warranty) and about 10K miles ago I have a hard shift from 3rd to 4th gear which I understand there is a class action suit on. About 8 or 9 trips out west from New Jersey!

Knock wood I haven't had trouble with the 4x4 seal and the front pulling either way. I use mine on a regular basis to keep things moving and functioning properly. This is interesting to me and I'll keep and eye/ear out for it and definitely report back if issues arise. Thanks, Merry Christmas,

Bought a 2019 for a crew truck, 5.0, 10speed, rear locker, 4wd Trans went out under 90,000 miles. No aftermarket so had to buy from Ford. Bed is thin and has couple nasty gashes through it, one from dropping a 2’ excavator bucket in it that should not have caused the damage it did.
We own a 2016 also with the 2.7l that has been bullet proof. Power seems equal to the 5.0 and great MPG’s.
Most everything else is 2500-5500 and all GM products, and honestly, any 1/2 tons from now on will be Tundras or possibly try a Titan.

We have also been looking at the Tundra and Titan for it's replacement. I love the Titian but 2024 is the last year they're making them. So, I have some reservations about it.
