Having limited mechanical skills I just bought this one on sale from Scheels for $90 something on sale:

It works as advertised off my UTV and pick-up. We take it on traveling hunts cause due to CWD some areas want the carcass left in the field, so we use it to at least bone out. For the UTV I have to use an extension to clear the bed.

An ATV ramp can save a lot of work, too.

Ok I did buy one

Holy Crap it’s a game changer

That expression is over used but fits

This year my one partner just got a new knee and my other partner is 82 doing ok but I didn’t want him to do really anything
He got a deer opening AM so I put the winch on the Rhino went out winched it up let gravity help field dress
Took it to my Tundra and hung it outside my house hit the deer with a hose all the mess was outside backed in the garage and skinned I don’t think it’s strong enough for the hard pulling skinning but everything else it’s Great

I shot a buck this AM repeated the process
It worked great again

Hank

...assuming you can get the truck to the elk or vice versa.
