I like the 270Win. They feed slick. What I've used most lately is an 84L I had rebarreled with a 1:8 Lilja @ 22" that duplicated the factory contour. I use 140gn Badlands @ BC of .650 @ 3075fps. I'm supersonic to just short of 1800yds.

Recoil is tolerable and the 270Win feeds nice and smooth through just about everything.

And that would be about perfect. Are the Super-Bulldozers working well on game? What powder are you using if you don't mind saying (I only get 3015fps with H4831sc)?

Regarding “on-game”, 1 Mule Deer @ 50yds didn’t like it. Didn’t find an elk or deer I wanted in ‘22. No tags this fall so the wait continues.

R-26 for powder.

RL-26 has taken the 270 W to the next level. Just worked up a load in my 270 fwt , 140 Nosler accubond at 3150 fps with no pressure signs

If "level" is a .500 BC,it's close, but yet shy. Hint.

Yes, but it's still not temperature stable. I get concerned when travelling to places to hunt where it might be 90 degrees or more, so I use H4831sc with its lower velocity.

Little Liar Larry, you have never shot anything except a metal plate at long distance, so stop pretending that you hunt long range with high bc bullets. All the game you shoot are at less than 100 yards.
