I still like that template idea odonata uses. I'm thinking he should write on the template what the eye relief is as well. That could be useful/helpful, when mounting different scopes.
Great minds think alike. If you zoom into the photo I posted of the Swarovski 3-9x36, you’ll see a small blurry “90mm” written on the rear objective near the 1885’s lever. On most scope templates I put the max eye relief at the top & the minimum at the bottom if a range is specified. I also put notes about fit & the rings required. Drafting scopes gives me something to do while watching football. It lets me put my empty taco shell boxes to good use.
