agreed!

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

3C , I should have added crossbow, we both switched over a few years back. Both shooting Ravens now. We both would have had to give up archery, due to age related problems. This my buck from last year.[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

i gave up hunting archery about 3 or 4 years ago. i am disabled (bad stroke), so i used a crossbow for years. i just got sick and tired of carrying it to my ground blind. i hunt in 2C now. it used to be 2C, 4D and 4A and i'd go to Clarksburg, WV area to hunt deer.

Yeah they are damned heavy! I got a CVA Accura muzzle loader last year, it's pretty light. That, along with my Montana are what I carry mostly. Good luck!

i didn't go early muzzleloader season, but i have a TC Encore and a 50 cal ml barrel and .429" 280gr WFN with a sabot and 70 gr of Goex FFg. i use fiber optic sights, i just don't like scopes on blackpowder barrel. i also use CVA Hawkens in a left hand flintlock with 70gr of Goex FFg under a 280gr WFN sabot.

Nice looking deer! My Dad is also in his 70s and it's nice when he is able to get out, after all he totes me around the woods since I was 5 so I guess it's my turn to help him.
