I asked Tim to make this "Loveless" style drop point for me more years ago than I care to remember, and to use Black Buffalo horn for the scales.

It's my "good luck knife" and has always done an excellent job field dressing big game.

Antelope season: Done
Mule Deer season: Next!

That is one fine looking knife. Buffalo Horn can have a striking appearance if it has the lighter highlights like yours. I lucked into a pocket folder with handles like that. It remains a favorite just because of the striking appearance.

And a plug for Tim too. Turns out the good stuff and and I enjoy his work as much as the conversations I've had with him.

Congrats on your knife.

Thank you all for the kind words. I have four knives from my friend, Tim. This Loveless Drop Point, his 5" Bullnose Skinner, a Jerry Fisk "Sendero" style pattern, and last but not least the big Mountain Man Camp Bowie. All have the black buffalo horn except for the Camp Bowie which I asked Tim to use stag on.

Leaving next week for Mule Deer season and you can bet which knife will be going with me!

Keith, you know I love that knife, having handled it in the past. I am happy you are still pleased with it. I have a bunch of Tim's knives and they are all solid performers for me.

Sam my friend, that's an excellent description of Tim's blades....."solid performers!"
