Ordered one of these yesterday. Review/report to follow sometime in the upcoming year, lol. My only wish is the barrel should be 20-22 inches. But that can be fixed. https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-457-american-left-hand/
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
I had an inherited RH version of the same and sold it early this year. Never shot it. For whatever reason, CZ never really did much for me, and I never considered a lefty of theirs.
Would like to see the T1X in 22 mag LH. I have a 17, and it shoots incredible.

Agree on the barrel length. 24" seems excessive on a rimfire. Like you said, easily fixed.
I personally, like a 24” barrel on a rimfire. Never thought of it as a hindrance. The action is so short that the longer barrel just helps the rifle balance better, IMO. I own a couple LH CZ 452 Americans in 17HMR and 22LR. My only gripe is the 22” barrel.😁
Funny how we all have different tastes.
Now, why they made it 24.8” is beyond me. Must be a European thing. And why did they change the checkering from their former “classic” point pattern? Don’t know how they can call the new pattern “classic”…looks out of place to me on an “American” style rifle.🤷♂️
I have the same rifle but right-handed. I bought it about 8 or 9 months ago. The accuracy has been really impressive for a rimfire. It's the first CZ I have used and I am impressed with the quality.
Finally picked it up from my dealer. Wood is dark with some figure. I am sure the checkering is machine cut but it is still impressive. Very well done. Trigger breaks at approximately 4-4.5 pounds with ZERO creep or over travel. It will sit in the safe until I get a chance to mount a scope and sight it in. Bolt travel is smooth and rifle is equipped with sling studs. My initial opinion is it is well worth the $590 I paid for it. Factory mag is 5 rounds and I bought a CZ 10 round mag for $34.

Leftybolt
I agree for the same reason. My Marlin 39 has a 24" barrel and it's never been an issue. Likewise with my Lyman Deerstalker flintlock muzzleloader. I prefer 22" or shorter on centerfire though.
I wouldn't mind having one of those either. Appreciate you posting the details Snowwolfe.

I have 2 CZ's in lefty, a 22LR w/16" barrel and a 17HMR w/22" barrel.....both are smooth shooters and I added Yodave spring kits and trigger jobs on both.
Picked this up the other day thinking I would want to lop at least 6” off the barrel, but after putting 50 rounds through it shooting offhand I’m leaving it. It’s so well balanced and accurate; quite pleased with it.

I bought a CZ 457 in left hand ..also in 22 mag..last summer… I haven’t have much time to put a variety of 22 mag ammo thru it… But the CCI 40 gr hp ammo shot nickel sized groups at 60 yds …. Trigger needs a little attention to lighten the pull weight but there was no trigger creep…The wood stock had lots of figure to it…but the stock was pretty dark like it had been stained…Checkering was nice. The action was very smooth to operate and probably smoother than the LH 452 that I have when it was new out of the box…I like the trigger housing /guard better than the CZ452…as the 452 trigger housing has a stamped blued metal trigger guard… The red cocking indicator at the back of the 457 action is a nice feature and the safety is like most American bolt rifles now regarding safe and fire position…Sometime this winter I’ll run a bunch of different brands of ammo thru it to see what it really likes… Right now it has a Burris Fullfield ll 4x14 x42 scope on it in CZ steel rings.
I got a leftyCZ 457 in22 Mag a month and half ago, I settled on Hornady 30 grain vmax and Hornady 45grn FTX for bigger critters. 30 grain was the best, but the 45 FTX was about 1/2” at 50 yards. I think you will be pleased.
Check with Classicfirearms.com. They had LH CZ 457s in 22 magnum last fall..I bought mine in September from them . Keep checking back on Their website if its not in Stock…They Seem to get L H CZ 457 rimfires in at various times throughout the year….
