Killed a small 8 point this AM, he was about 150 yards, 16” inside. He weighed 180 not gutted

Yeah, I hunted west Texas several years and shot several 8 pointers. None weighed anywhere near 180. Some long tines on that rack too.

If you laid two of my WV bucks next to yours, fully dressed, they would be about 180, and the total points would be about the size of one side of yours. We do have some bigger deer in MD. My biggest dress was 196, nice 7 point.
