Question is, will the mistakes of the last game cause Lanning to be too conservative next time around?
I've been really impressed with Nix this season, but I still want to see what he can do against a legitimate SEC caliber defense.
I think, based on years of heartbreak, that what counts is what the Ducks in general can do against a first-tier SEC defense. When we’ve gotten there, it’s usually not gone well.
I think Nix’s back story should help him in that regard, but it won’t matter if an SEC D-line crushes our O-line which has been an ongoing theme.
