Got this buck at my son's place in Columbia this morning. I was in my stand for about 2 minutes and he came over the ridge about 50 yards out on the prowl! I stayed in my stand for about 10 minutes after the shot to calm down but I could see one side of his rack sticking up so I knew he was done. My son sent me some pics of him in the food plot at 4:30 this morning. I'm like, nice to know he's close, but it never works out for me - until today! Gave him a nice ride to the truck on my Cabela's Super Mag Hauler! My scale says 205. I'm going to have to check it. He seems about 20 lbs lighter than the one I got last year, but maybe I'm much stronger now! First buck with my new Cooper as well! Nice deer. What caliber of rifle? It's a 280AI shooting the factory Nosler Trophy Grade 140 Accubond load. It's a hammer on deer.. Thanks for the comments on the barn! I guess I'm kind of anal about it but I spend a lot of time out there ...

I usually uncock them when I get home but it was late when I got home the other night and I forgot. I have left it cocked for several days before and it doesn't cause any issues. Excalibur makes an extremely tough crossbow.
