Traded for a Marlin 336 RC in 35 Rem the other day. First lever action I've
owned and was wondering what the RC stood for? Descent shape has been hunted but not abused.

Yes it has the 20 in barrel and full tube.

I have seen some factory ammo in few stores lately. Not cheap but available. I reload and have shot it using my reloads and some Hornady LV factory rounds. They grouped just under an inch at 100yds. I've used them in my Rem 760. Good whitetail getter.

How does an RC differ from a 336C? It doesn't. They just dropped the "Regular Carbine" designation and made it simply "Carbine"
