Fishing is the most expensive way to get a free meal.

That’s if you even keep them for a meal. Ever see the price for a slab now 2 or 3 fish pretty much pays for it all.

Boob jobs seem to get it done.

I love eating catfish, even bullheads. Had a good bullhead and they drained it on me and no more for now. Had a good channel cat spot but has gone down hill last couple years. But channel cats in the grocery store are running about $6 a pound and the onlything missing seems to be the guts! Makes catching them more than worth while. Expensivew? Well 15 miles to the river and half a chicken breast with garlic pretty much has been my go to. Could get them on night crawlers, my son does, and they are free in the back yard! Expensive? I don't think so! Last I went for bullheads while they were draining the res in two trips we got just over 90 of them on night crawlers!

I disagree. Get a cheap rod/reel combo, a spool of line, and a couple bobbers and a couple packs of hook. Maybe $100 if you aren’t too particular. After the 10th fish, it paid for itself.
