Nice looking rifle. I'm a big fan of building from a Tikka action. Which bullets are you planning to try first?

Good bullets properly placed always work, but not everyone knows what good bullets are, or can reliably place them in the field

Funny thing about individual barrels, they tell you what they like.

Heck of a rifle right there. I've contemplated building similar to take advantage of the powder capacity on the WSM and the COAL available to the Tikka actions.

Tikka's are really a thing of beauty. Some may not think so, but damn they shoot. I'm sure the OP's drives tacks. Had mine out this morning drilling a 10" plate at 1,000.

OP started this thread 3 months ago. Wondering about a range report. Had my CTR out the other day.. Very minimal wind, shooting out to 1,000.. 3" group at 1,000 and I put it away. Wondering how the OPs rifle shoots? That's a pretty pricey barrel for it not to shoot at least as good as a factory barrel.
