One of the movies in which he played, Go Tell The Spartans with Burt Lancaster and Marc Singer was very interesting. A flick about our very early involvement in Vietnam. Because of our professions, neither of us worked in typical 8 to 5 jobs, M/F, so it was pretty easy to arrange for hunting and fishing trips. As they say, "Long ago and far away."  FWIW. L.W. I just watched Go tell the Spartans a month ago .will have to go back and see which charactor he played ,didnt know he played in The Shootest ,just remember him when he got old and played that beer commercial.

I got on a train headed to Fort Lenard Wood. Basic Training. Ten in the morning, on a Tuesday. Apparently after all of the years you spent there, you never learned how to place the name on the gate.
Fort Leonard WoodHell i went to Basic training there in 1983 and i still cant spell it lessen i look it up I went to basic in 1973 at Ft. Lost in the Woods. kwg
