I really enjoy seeing your meal preparations. Gives me some ideas.

I am waiting on CWD test results -- deer is boned out, cut and frozen and on hold pending results.

Could be summer BBQ season by the time results come in so keep the meal pictures coming.

OK, what to do with a bunch of leftover, stuffed pepper filling ?

Oh, & blissfully unaware that we had CWD issues ??

CWD is getting to be fairly heavy in a few zones in Alberta. Particularly ones on the eastern side of the province. I shot this deer in a controlled hunt area with mandatory head submission. The biologist said that Male MD were the heaviest hit, followed by FMD, Male WD and last FWD. The deer I shot was a young male Whitetail (most likely 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 yrs old) and in good physical condition it should be fine.
