And thats only the people that would admit to owning a gun. Good point. Growing up, a couple who were close friends with my parents maintained a very anti-gun stance in their politics, but when I was in my early 20s he asked me to come over and evaluate the value of his handgun collection, some of which had been in his family for over 75 years. I came over and he opened up a disguised compartment under his main stairwell to reveal all sorts of automatic pistols from the early 20th century, all in very nice condition (some Berettas, some Colts and some Belgian Brownings, along with old classic boxes of ammo). He had had them in his possession for decades, having inherited them. This being New York, however, and none of them having a legal paper trail, I had to inform him that the only way he could sell them in New York State was from the trunk of his car, since they shared the legal status in New York of a kilo of hashish. Whoa!

But otherwise, firearm purchase numbers continue to break records. So the number of homes with a gun is likely to be rising.

It *would* be 80% if Negroes hadn't aborted half of their population in America--all advocated by the leftists that they vote for in droves. Well, given that they commit crimes, especially violent crimes, out of all proportion to their numbers and given that they vote overwhelmingly Democrat and are mostly on welfare, is that such a bad thing?  Something you do not do, so you are lower than a niqqer.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

..Even the liberal self righteous Jews are waking up and buying guns . When I lived in Los Angeles, I knew many Jewish men and women gun owners. I used to shoot with some of them at the Beverly Hills Gun Club. Two of my very good friends are Jewish and heavy duty gun owners. Another good friend who died two years ago of stomach cancer was Jewish and owned a lot of guns. He was also a former US Navy SEAL, Vietnam service. Don't think that all Jews are anti-gun. FWIW. L.W

Check out my hammers - not a damned one has gold plating, or pristine handles.

I would venture to say that if a ban went into effect, 90% of gun owners would comply without a whimper. Even many NRA and GOA members.

There's 2 kinds of people. Those who don't own guns and those who don't own enough guns, because we are always looking for another. I am going to steal that ! . . .  Then there are some of us who own enough guns to make up for the ones that don't.......... And those own way more than enough. Have 0 interest in downsizing. And keep an eye peeled for bargains, something interesting, or "That perfect rifle".

I have my doubts about any poll done by the MSM. I have no doubt about the inaccuracy of results reported by the MSM of any poll MSM had done for their use. Regardless of what the left says you are far more likely to die from violence while not having a gun than if you do have one and are willing to capably use one. Some of the people in our government are wolves who think we should all be sheep . The sheep mostly don't think anything about what the real intentions of the wolves are. Then there are the sheepdogs who used to watch the sheep and guard them but now only watch the wolves be they leftists or criminals to guard against them for their own protection. When the sheepdogs are not supported as they should be by the sheep they are less vigilant for the sheep. Simple fact is you as an individual are way.better off strategically if no one's knows what defense you have. Why give up that advantage? Mb
