I'll pass, not a fan of waffles at all. Same for syrup. A country gravy with the chicken works. My wife had that with mashed potatoes at our local restaurant last night.

Local brewery here has an occasional special of chicken and waffles. The waffle has bacon in it and the chicken has a spicy honey drizzled on it. Damn tasty and good with a beer to quench the heat. But I suspect they knew that all along.

Was on my own for lunch today and remembered that a local place has a Thursday special of C&W for $5. Went down there. It's one of those places that is sit-down but you order and pay first like fast food. Anyway, the clerk/server was a "mixed pronoun Target shopper" if you catch my drift: earrings, eye shadow, lipstick, hint of a lisp. I elected to not see the tip selection on the checkout machine. The $5 special plus coffee and tax came to $10.
