The clothing issue building at Ft. Leonard Wood MO. in June 1973. It was one of those "temporary" buildings built during WWII but it was still standing and getting used every day. Of course, there was wool and other items of clothing in the building so I'm sure they wanted to keep the mice and bugs out. That was my first real exposure to moth balls on a big scale. Every time I smell them now, my mind goes back to June 1973 and Ft. Lost in the Woods Missouri.
kwg I didn't remember that so much, but maybe it wasn't as bad when I went through in March - due to the cold temps.

A hand full of them scattered under someone's deer stand that you don't like works as intended.

Used to throw them all over in our old deer camp in August to run all the vermin out before season.
