Because, of Course He Does – JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon Wants Crypto Currency Banned in USA

Top line – JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon wants cryptocurrencies banned in the USA.

Bottom line - The US Treasury has set the financial system on an almost unreversible path to a U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency. Crypto is a threat to the establishment of that objective.

“I’ve always been deeply opposed to crypto, bitcoin, etc.,” Dimon said in response to a question from Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. “The only true use case for it is criminals, drug traffickers … money laundering, tax avoidance because it is somewhat anonymous, not fully, and because you can move money instantaneously. “If I was the government, I would close it down.”

Little Jamie is crying into his glass of Merlot because he, and his government buddies are starting to realize the gig is up. The whole banking system they’ve come to know, love, and abuse is coming crashing down and they’ve no where to hide. They’ve spent us into oblivion, and with a collapse of their system they also no longer have control over us. And don’t forget, the majority of us are nearly broke, living paycheck to paycheck. In a banking, financial collapse who has the most to loose, the billionaires or the broke people?

Because they can't control it, they of course want it banned.

Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.

Rehabilitation is way overrated.

Jamie says that because he runs a business that uses real money. Someday there will be a reckoning and your money will be gone. Untraceable works two ways.

See Friedman look at all the money those people made.

Holy Crap...

DUHH!

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

By and large he is probably right, and most of them would be in his social set.

Not a lot of difference between crypto and the way Indians, Jews, and Muslims shift money about. Different mechanism but same result.

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

They want nothing less than to know exactly what you spent, when you spent it, and on what. They literally think that this is an ideal to strive for. They believe that anyone who seeks privacy in his economic activities is a criminal. They believe they now have the technology to implement a system to prevent all private economic activity, and things like crypto get in the way of that dream. And now you know why the Founders prohibited direct taxation of the people's income, leaving only a national sales tax, import and excise taxes, for the funding of the Federal Government.

Yep the bankers hate Crypto. They want their pound of flesh everytime you move capital.

I use Crypto exchanges more and more for international transfers. It is instantaneous and there is a small network fee for the process. Beats the hell out of two and three day transfers and the 2%-3% the banks steal. In addition, you are not subjected to the Forex exchange rate BS where you can lose another 3% for converting to the local currency.

No matter how much they whine, Crypto isn't going away.
