Well done PD and congrats to the young men. Your better half deserves a bunch of credit also. What did you have done to your knee and when?.mb
Thanks, guys. Appreciate the kind words and will pass them along, especially to my wife as you are right, so deserves a lot of credit for helping to make this happen, too. They were hunting in the spot where Kelley would have normally been sitting with her rifle, but she chose to just help Blake and Layne there this year.
I tore a meniscus in my knee in August and had been putting off surgery as I wanted to be able to get around at cross country meets to watch Layne (and Blake) run this fall. When they did the MRI they also found an area of cartilage missing on the end of my femur, so they did microfracture surgery while they were doing the arthroscopic surgery three weeks ago, too, drilling three small holes in the end of the bone to help fill in the missing cartilage. On crutches for six weeks now with non-weight bearing/no driving restrictions, so I am getting a bit of cabin fever working on my computer from the recliner with ice on my knee. I'll make it, just will be glad to get this part behind me. Thanks for asking.
