Liz McGill is clearly one of the most gutless people I have ever seen. Not only was her testimony at the congressional hearing smug and entitled but her video after the hearing, walking back her statements in an attempt to save her job only illustrated her absolute ineptitude for the position. She has no shame. Where do these universities find such poor candidates for presidents. On one site a fellow board member described her as a great leader. She has displayed anything but sound leadership.

We’ll have dumbed down lawyers, judges, doctors and surgeons. It is a plan that’s already taking place. DEI is poison and progressive is regressive, just take a look at the dystopian cities being run under DEI.

(NEW YORK)— PEN America today called the suspension of Wayne State University Professor (((Steven Shaviro))) and the college’s reporting of him to police for a social media post a “blatant overreaction.”

Shaviro, who teaches English at the Michigan school, was suspended and reported to the police last week for statements he made on his personal Facebook account. The now-deleted post read: “Although I do not advocate violating federal and state criminal codes, I think it is far more admirable to kill a racist, homophobic or transphobic speaker than it is to shout them down.” He went on to say: “In short, every time protestors shout down a racist or transphobic speaker, they are indulging their own moral sense of validity at the expense of actually strengthening the very bigots against whom they are protesting.”

In response, (((Jonathan Friedman))), director of free expression and education at PEN America, released the following statement:

“The choice to suspend Shaviro and report his social media post to police is a blatant overreaction to the facts at hand. When understood in context, Shaviro’s comments are satirical, extramural speech, a form of political commentary regarding the shouting down of speakers on university campuses. Shaviro’s choice of words may reflect poor judgment, but abstract reflection on these topics clearly does not rise to the very high standard of true threats or incitement, even if provocative or even shocking in nature; no one should be prosecuted for making bad jokes on the internet. This is also an extramural utterance, not made on campus or in the context of teaching, and for the university to react by reporting it to law enforcement is a dangerous precedent. After all, academic freedom extends beyond the classroom for good reason: a university cannot fulfill its mission if faculty can be fired or jailed based on satire, political commentary or unfortunate senses of humor.”

Where is the equivalence? Grant you there are many Jews in the U.S. that vote their own demise every four years. 2024 may be different. However a radical Jewish professor writing radical threats is only one radical Jewish professor, having thousands of Jew haters chase, corner and threaten to kill fellow Jewish students on a university campus is a whole different matter. It is the sunlight that was needed to expose wrong doing no matter who perpetrates it. Again DEI is a real tool being taught and used to make each student seek mediocrity in lieu of meritocracy to obtain equity, which is the antithesis of what a universities goals should be.

She is a lying, spineless, liberal worm chkunt who actually very well represents the faculty and administration at UPenn.

I certainly deplore the attitudes and utterances presented by this Shaviro and his kind. At the same time, and in the case of the university's actions, I agree with the analysis by Friedman.

She won't suffer much, she is one of the elites and her class will protect her from us unwashed peons. She'll eat a little crow and be back in a few years like nothing ever happened.

She'll get the sacrificial commie package, some gig at a newspaper or another university with a big paycheck. They take care of their own
