While this is certainly true, the Democtats of that day was a lot different than the current Democrats. Unlike the history books (written by the winners), It was mostly formed as an answer to crimes done by white carpetbaggers. It did spill over into crimes done/or preceived done by blacks. Even the KKK was much different back then, than what it became in our lifetime. Whites suffered greatly from the carpetbaggers, and was given in our family history as the reason for the move from Mississippi to Arkansas in 1869. The area where I grew up and still live had no KKK members in my iifetime, that I know of. The first one that I met was from Missippi, while in the Army in 1968. Our little eight grade school that I grew up in taught us a lot about local history. I never knew a Republican until I went into the Army. miles

Don’t matter. What does matter is their expertise at exploiting race for economic gain and to establish power. We have barely scratched the surface compared to where this is going. Race and demographic will become increasingly important to ones socioeconomic status. And all because we allow it. White kids, particularly males, are in big trouble in the future.

My first clue was that virtually all slave holders were democrats. Then they went on to own the kkk, jim crow, the great society, etc etc. Oh, and they are big league LIARS and CHEATERS.
